Multiple passengers and crew sustained injuries following a Delta Airlines jet from LA to Sydney encountered rough air on Friday morning.
Flight DL41 "experienced a brief period of turbulence" as it landed at Sydney Airport, a representative for the carrier told. A number of the onboard staff sustained injuries.
Local paramedics reported they evaluated five individuals, and transferred three of them to a medical facility with non-life-threatening injuries that included spinal discomfort and migraines. Those affected ranged from their 30s up to the 70s.
