In a surprising partnership that defies conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has unveiled an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Uncovered

According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual encounter leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where whispers of banned rituals and fearsome transformations echo through the darkness." The plot presents a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who charges the duo with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine sect.

The questline focuses on "strange trials and a fearsome enemy" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Transformations

The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser finishes with a dramatic scene showing a character, probably the captive, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Bonus Content

Players who accomplish the adventure will acquire an exclusive katana together with several items concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
