Performer Denies Anti-Vaccine Stance After Lending His Voice To Disputed Pandemic Film

Liam Neeson has lent his vocal talents to a new documentary that challenges the efficacy of immunizations and praises ex- health official RFK Jr.

The Film's Disputed Foundation

Titled "Plague of Corruption," the project is inspired by a bestselling book written by Judy Mikovits, who rose to infamy during the global outbreak for assertions that the illness was a result of a bad strain of the flu vaccine.

Her writing partner, a producer, has previously authored books with controversial media personality Alex Jones. Heckenlively took to social media praising Neeson's involvement in the project.

An Unequivocal Rebuttal

A spokesperson for Liam Neeson have released a response firmly refuting claims that he holds anti-immunization views.

"Everyone can recognize that unethical practices can exist within the medical sector, but that must not be equated to opposition to vaccines," the response explains. "Neeson has never been, and remains not, anti-vax. His extensive work with the global charity underscores his long-held support for public-health initiatives."

The response continued that the star was not involved in crafting the project's editorial content and that concerns about its claims ought to go to the creators.

Key Themes Within the Film

In the film, the voiceover provided by Neeson includes several controversial statements:

  • It claims that pro-vaccine voices have insisted on "unconditional submission" to health authorities.
  • It declares that "science has become deeply politicised."
  • Robert F Kennedy Jr is interviewed saying, "The core flaw with vaccines is that they just aren't safely tested."
  • It further attacks pandemic restrictions, saying they caused severe distress that led to the loss of thousands of lives.
  • Concerning the immunizations, it references a view that they were "developed too quickly" and seen as "risky trials."

Past Background and Ongoing Disputes

The documentary includes a past television report about AIDS medication trials on children, which was subsequently the topic of a formal apology by the network for unbalanced reporting.

Recently, Kennedy directed the national health agency to alter its longstanding position that there is no connection between immunizations and autism spectrum disorder. This claim is echoed in the documentary, contrary to a recent study from the WHO reiterating no such link has been found.

A Previous Position of Endorsement

Contrasting the documentary's narrative, Neeson has formerly voiced clear advocacy for vaccines in his capacity as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador.

Previously, he described vaccines as "a remarkable human success story," adding that "The debate about vaccines in the past few years has forgotten how much benefit they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest human endeavors in history."

The documentary ends with Neeson's script proclaiming, "This is not the finish of our journey. This is the beginning of a different phase."
